Ashlynn Alderson
Ashlynn Alderson

Meet Ashlynn, 11 years old and the daughter of Stephanie and Jeff. This 5th grader at Hollow Hills is enrolled at the Gotta Dance Academy and loves to dance as an after school activity. “Passion is dance!”, she says. She’s been competing since the age of 5 and has won several awards from her performances. She also loves to help the younger dance girls whenever she can. She has a love for animals and wants to be a Marine Biologist when she grows up. If that’s not all enough, she enjoys spending time with her brother Connor, two dogs, 2 cats, turtle, and their many fish.

This competition is important to Ashlynn because to Ashlynn she wants to be a bigger part of the community and learn more about the city of Simi Valley.

Rashi Khandare

Meet Rashi, daughter of Kiran and Minal and lives by the belief to be passionate about everything she does to be successful, to never give up and always keep trying. That’s a big belief from this 10 year old 5th grader at Hollow Hills. Rashi has many extra activities she is proud of and enjoys; dance, ice-skating, music, math & English classes, piano and tae-kwon-do. She has received awards for her academics and citizenship at school. When asked why this contest is important to her she replied, “I feel participating in the contest will help to express myself and me personally grow. I would get the opportunity to give back to the community where I was born and am growing up.”.

These young ladies are the future leaders of our community, so come show your support to these girls on April 21st at Simi Valley High School, see their talents, and listen to them answer interview questions while anticipating who the winner will be.

SQ Portraits – Photography is excited to be participating in this event and supporting our community and these girls.
